Why have you decided to serve as an inaugural Torchbearer for the JLB?
I am a torchbearer to help raise the public consciousness about the epidemics of sexual violence and human trafficking in our community. I was honored to be invited to participate and gladly join in the fight.

What/who inspires you to be a Light in our community?
Throughout my professional life, I have found inspiration in the life's work of Rev. Fred Shuttlesworth, especially in the courage he showed standing up to oppression in Birmingham. Rev. Shuttlesworth and his family faced violence and the constant threat of violence, but his determination to fight for social justice never wavered.
